Cozumel, Mexico in the summer is hot but still a beautiful place to dive and relax.
Macro picture opportunities abound. This Hermit crab stopped and I could not resist the blue eyes.

The conch where out in force in the shallow areas.
This conch had not located a mate but was on the prowl.
The picture shows both eyes, a long "tongue like" mouth
between the eyes and the foot to the lower left.

They are normally very shy and not so "active".

Could not get the name of this tree.
The flowers on the tree where a beautiful
red.

Quick Trip to Bimini, Bahamas to stay at Rick and Glenn's condo.
Nice weather, beautiful diving and great food!

This is a morning view from their deck.
Took the liberty to PS the gradient in the lower third to make it have
a more artistic look. The High ISO made it a bit grainy and more like a painting.

Beautiful day. Quite a contrast to the night this ship ran aground.
She sits on the southern tip of the main island of Bimini, Bahamas.
Super structure is not far from failing in to the fore deck.

Picture needs a mermaid, model or a few birds to add some life.
Should not complain. God provided all that color!

Rick and I had a great snack on the side of the road in Bimini, Bahamas.
Fresh langosta tail deep fried in very hot oil.
The tail took about 3 minutes and came out perfect and moist.
Then small bite size conch fritters from the same pan rounded out the snack.

Did I forget to mention the ICE cold beer?

The carnival in Cozumel has always involved the kids.The Family
is what it is about unike like the New Orleans or Rio events.

The carnival has grown over the last 15 years.
It runs along the main road adjacent to the water for hours on end.

Great food, colors, music and costumes.
Plus cotton candy, lighted toys, ballons, etc...

Notice the candy on her chin !
She is looking to see why the parade stopped.
