Small single handed sailboats were racing in the eastern branch of the Lynnhaven River.
They were blazing along at 3 to 5 knots .. maybe.
Very calming except the for intense expressions on each sailors face.

I Like the vintage look of the B&W.

Two pictures of a bright red sunrise after a cool late night frontal passage.
It was still dark so I shot both pictures on a tripod with a slow shutter speed.

In the top shot with almost no wind, at one second, f/8 and 31mm
(focused on the boat) the water had a slightly blurred reflection.
The red & blue color in the reflection matched the sky. Yes!

In the bottom shot, a boat passed and the slight boat wake turned
the water (reflection) into a blur.
It was almost like a mist.
The picture was shot at 3.2 sec, f/8 and 16mm.

What was interesting was what it did to the red, green and white lights on the water.
