Common Reef Octopus ?


We are still not sure this is a common reef octopus juvenile.

But the resident experts Sheryl and Mariano at Aqua Safari
in Cozumel seem to believe it is a VERY small Reef Octopus.

The camouflage "plant like growth" on the head is the puzzling part.
Several Octopi in Indonesia have a similar growth and look.
