Male seahorse is pregnant in Cozumel, Mexico


The male seahorse becomes pregnant and gives birth to the live baby seahorses.
Actually he just carries the female’s eggs
(three weeks) to birth and fertilize them in his pouch.
He goes through 72 hours of labor and exhausting final contractions
to release up to 200 baby seahorses.
