Went to the waterfront to watch a sunset. Turned around and saw
a beautiful sky caused by the setting sun. A few nice fishing boats
and a seagull poised in the shot made it work!

Only 4 minutes difference in time. The shot below this one was taken
with a D5 Canon 24mm f7.1 at 1/80. The shot above, 180 degrees back to west,
was a D20 Canon 400mm f7.1 1/500. The sky turned blood red.
The heron was just takin' in the view.

Lynnhaven area ...

The male seahorse becomes pregnant and gives birth to the live baby seahorses.
Actually he just carries the female’s eggs
(three weeks) to birth and fertilize them in his pouch.
He goes through 72 hours of labor and exhausting final contractions
to release up to 200 baby seahorses.

Night dive on a reef in Cozumel. The Octopus changes color and turned
from light blue to red in just a few minutes.

Drift diving near El Cedral reef in Cozumel Mexico I found a “Painted Elysia” (Thuridilla picta)
or 10 mm long Sea Slug. It was on a green algae type material.
The 100mm macro lens captures more detail then I could see with the naked eye.
