Spring is here! I found these flowers at Helga's.
She has some very unusual flowers. Great place to
find orchids.

Walking down the riverfront area of Los Olas Boulevard I saw how
the afternoon sun made the building into a large blue mirror.
The “mirror” caught the reflection of the high-rise condo 4 blocks away.

Before sunrise shot! 580 EX-Strobe 1/125 at f/32, 100mm macro on a Canon 5D
for this all white Azalea in my side yard. Click picture for a larger version.

While shooting the white azalea I saw this “weed”. Shot with the same settings
as the azalea below.

Three replicas of the Discovery, Godspeed, and The Susan Constant were
anchored off First Landing State Park. The Weather was gray and fogy and added to
the unusual feeling of the ships re-enacting the 400-year-old landing.
Pictured are the Susan Constant in the foreground and the Godspeed to the left.
The small boat to the distant right is called a shallop used 400 years ago to land the settlers on the beach.

The Blue Heron is very common in Va. This fellow was standing on a point
between to channels on an incoming tide. He was just waiting for a little
dinner to swim up in the shallows.
