Strange these two creatures are together. Not sure what is going on. From a pervious posting I defined Crinoids.
They are not a plant but an animal. Nudibranch are a sea slug. A Kiss , a bump, or a fight? The Nudibrach is a Phyllidia Varicosa first identified in 1801.
That is about the time Chris and I started diving.
A small fish that does not seem to be frightened by a divers approach. Very colorful and a lot of texture in the skin (no scales). 125 variations exists in this species family (per the BIG BOOK). Not enough depth of field in the shot with the 100mm macro lens. A little blur at the tail. CLICK ON PHOTO FOR LARGER VERSION.
Could not sleep. 6:oo am arrival was way to early!
Had to wait for the sun to wake-up. Met a lot of nice
people out walking their dogs. 20D with 10-22 mm Wide angle
0.3s at f/22.
Canon 20D, 100 mm macro lens, 1/50s at f 5.6. Bonaire is a desert Island with
very little natural water. Cactus cover the Island. Would hate to fall on one!
